Nice blender but ... UPDATE

 

I was never able to talk to anyone at DeLonghi by phone - spent hours on hold. Then after about a month of emails I did get a replacement for the chopper cover - I found the email route by reading other reviews. Now I got a second replacement cover....

Blending function is very good, Strong motor - two speed. Well designed and well built blender

Chopper was broke. Replaced. But what a hassle

Everything it has is good. Its powerful, easy to use, extremely easy to clean.

What's bad it's what it doesn't have. The filter fills up after about 3 pounds of veggies/fruit. At least the filter is easy to clean, but it needs to be done often. Other than that there are no complaints

Wrote previously that it was broken out of the box ; Called DeLonghi Customer Service, and they are shipping the defective part, without having to ship back defective part ; Give back on stars, would have given 5 stars, because the product is great ;...

Arrived all broken...due to poor packaging from Newegg (no packaging at all I should say). Waiting for a long replacement process.

Major Dissapointment...

 

Purchased unit to replace my old Keurig K-Cup coffee maker. The purchase price was to include 12 coffee pods that were specifically designed for this machine. After receiving item, major disappointment set in. The vendor did not include the coffee pods...

Can\'t find the pods anywhere but online :...

 

I love this unit but have been unable to find the PODS at our local Big Box stores. It's going to go back just for that reason.
