GREAT camera , and you CAN use it with a MAC :)

 

I am a Mac user and bought this camera knowing the problems there are using it on my ibook. This morning after about 30min playing about i have it working on both Quicktime and in iMovie. The fix is to download the old 105l codecs from here ...

Nice and light, small, external camera, battery light, WORKS WITH A MAC! :)

Maybe too small!?, carry bag is crap, and the external camera straps need work.

Very good for its intended use

 

I bought my Samsung SC-X210L a month and a half ago for one purpose: recording my mountain biking adventures on the North Shore of Vancouver, BC. I was interested in Samsung's previous offering last year, but it was too limited so I decided to wait....

Size, weight, durability, acceptable video quality, included helmet cam with wired remote, easy file transfer

Battery life, max 2GB external memory, occasional colour shifting.

Not Mac compatible - despite what Samsung publishes!

 

This is a great concept - having an external, hands-free lens for shooting while doing things you normally couldn't shoot while doing! I've seen actual footage from the gen1 release (SC-X105L) that was edited on a Mac and it actually looks pretty good ...

Great idea and functional for intended purpose.

Doesn't work with Mac - false advertising, in my opinion!
