STAY AWAY

 

Stay away from this keybaord. First time buying from IOGear/Aten Technology, Inc. Probably my last. IOGear, please improve the quality of your products, we understand planned obsolescence is a thing but this is ridiculous.

Worked well for about 4 months *12/26/14-04/01/15

After about three months of use, the keyboard started disconnecting randomly, and now my keys are very confused. pressing a 'd' button will cause a 6 to appear, most of my numbers do not work, and my caps lock button will randomly turn on and off

Does anyone make a wireless keyboard that works and lasts? In 6 years I have gone through 6 keyboards; that are used with my HTPC,

I worked

After 4 months the finish has worn off the left mouse button. I could live with that however, the key is failing as well. It need to be pushed several times to work. The key also needs to be pressed in a certain stop to work. A keyboard should last...

excellent value

 

I have had this keyboard now for several years and do not understand the negative reviews. It does take a second to reconnect after reboot, like my microsoft bluetooth mouse does. I'm typing this review with it. It's a solid, inexpensive bluetooth...

Up to 8 devices, works with Linux and Mac out of the box (probably Win as well but I wouldn't know), works with old an new dongles

you need a bluetooth enabled PC, or supply your own dongle (<$10)

Did not come with a usb dongle and the description did not say it came with it or not. If I would have known this I never would have bought it. It is like getting a ps2 keyboard with no cord. I would not recommend this item at all

IOGEAR GKM611B Black 82 Normal Keys Bluetooth Wireless Slim Multi-Link Keyboard with Touchpad

 

Bought IOGEAR GKM561R (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823176018) as a replacement, and it's a million times better than this model. It's also comparably priced. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this one.

Bluetooth ; integrated touchpad (until it dies...)

Wouldn't stay connected to bluetooth between reboots. Hard to reconnect when only keyboard and pointing device not functioning. (catch-22) ; Shoddy construction, keyboard slid downward inside the casing after only a few weeks of use with an HTPC. this...

I contacted IOgear online support but havent heard anything back as of yet. A few little things (like drivers and custom shortcuts) would easily add a star. It's not a bad keyboard but so far lack of support has me wondering if I should return it...
