Great little laptop

 

If I could afford it, I would have one of these in every room.

Right out of the box this laptop impressed me. It's fast and well made. I have been using it as my couch pc, while watching tv. It works very well

Elitebook 8460P

 

D drive is poor design with the eject button being hard to reach. I need to lift the machine to engage it.

Great speed! Was able to load Windows 10 w/o issue. Keyboard has nice feel

Did not come with a battery...disappointed in that

better than I paid for

 

it was supposed to have an I5 dual core, instead it shipped with an i7 2720, and I'm not sure if all are like this . can hardly even tell it was refurbished

battery life isn't very good, but I'm sure I could just buy a new one for $20

It's a refurb'd unit, you can't expect perfection. Mine came with a few dings and a rather large chip out of the finish on the lid. But they did a good job refinishing it. Everything works like it should, keyboard, trackpad, etc. Mine came with a few...

Damaged

 

There seems to be a pretty serious lag in the time an order is placed before it shows up in your order history. I left the newegg site, then returned later but the item did not show under My Account.

good performance and design

laptop corner was crushed in and although it seems to be running ok, I don't want to risk further probs. down the road

I'm not sure how they burn in these laptops prior to delivery, but this was a mistake to purchase.

Great value. The unit I received was in excellent cosmetic condition and was fully functional and did not appear to be missing any parts

The hard drive was small ; The video driver wasn't installed ; The hard drive was affixed to its tray with only 2 screws. I considered knocking off an egg for the missing two screws

These are really nice laptops. If it wasn't for a few minor blemishes on the casing, I'd never have guessed they were refurbished.

Faulty Button Required Return

 

If it had been something else broken I might have been willing to overlook the issue, but you can't really live without a right mouse button. It's a shame too because I liked this one.

Great machine for the price. Cosmetics were very good

Right mouse button didn't work. Called Newegg and they said I could work through HP to get it repaired (a couple week turnaround time) or I could return it since they didn't have any in stock to do an exchange
