The Iogear 2.4GHz Wireless On-Lap Keyboard has all the standard features that make this remote keyboard a welcome addition to any home entertainment setup. However, there are more advanced solutions on the market.

Rechargeable batteries. Bottom conforms around lap. Rubber frame makes keyboard comfortable to hold and type on. USB dongle storage

Not long Range

 

If you are looking for a average 2.4GHz wireless keyboard and have the transmitter right in front of the keyboard and mouse, this one should do the trick

Good Styling comfortable mouse, keyboard nice feel

Can not receive at 1.5 meters away when keyboard and mouse are below transmitter. If this were a true RF keyboard (Radio Freq) this wouldn't be an issue. but it uses the 2.4 Ghz band that most routers use

Purchased this for my girlfriend to operate computer in the living room attached to a 50" HDTV. It works beautifully and was what I wanted for the right price range

Wireless ; Low Profile receiver ; Adjustable sensitivity on the mouse

The mouse has freaked out a couple of times, moving the cursor where it wasn't supposed to go. It hasn't happened often

Worked Perfect for me

 

This is a 2.4 GHZ device. A lot of wireless devices run in this frequency area. If you have multiple wireless devices they may be causing you grief. I don't have many in my house so I am not experiencing any negative effects.

Was very simple to install. Plug and play on Windows 8.1

Corporate Use

 

If you want long range and reliability, this is a good fit.

I am the technical support for a large corporation. We have been using ioGear long-range wireless keyboards in all of our conference and meeting rooms for the last 5 years and have had very good results. The range covers everything we have tried so far...

Sometimes users inadvertently turn off the keyboard and don't know how to turn it back on (but there are instructions printed on the keyboard... user error)
