The Brother P-touch PT-H100 is handheld, completely self-contained, inexpensive, and easy to use.

Inexpensive. Easy to use. Designed to hold in one hand while entering text for a label with the other.

Keyboard arrangement is alphabetical rather than QWERTY. LCD isn't backlit.

I love the P-touch line of labelers from Brother, and the TZ tape line looks nice at first till you realize how much label tape you throw away. I would stay away from any TZ labeler. The only reason mine isn't in the trash is because I bought 5...

Drains batteries when now powered up (I use Energizer advanced lithium) - so you better pull them out unless you use this frequently. The next time you want to print a label, they're dead. And there is no AC adapter connector, so if you don't have 6...

This is a nice label maker.

Prints very nicely.

It can be difficult to figure out how to use. I just looked up online for help and pointers.

I use this unit for labeling cable pulls for installation jobs. It also does a good job on labeling data panels and electrical panels. I haven't had it long enough to know how long the labels will last but they seem very durable.

Compact unit with a bit of weight. Prints clean and clear labels. The display will let you know how long of a label you are going to print off helping save material.

Eats batteries, would be nice if it came with a AC adapter

Compact and fast to print. Easy to replace tapes. Tapes relatively cheap to get. I like it all the way around.

I would like an on line tutorial. Seems like the PT-H100 has a nice printer but seems to waste a lot of tape for every label made as a blank area on either side of printed part can add up to not efficient use of tape, but means Brother sells more tape....

Very pleased with operation and features of the printer. Much more flexible than it's competitors. Does more than I expected and does them well.
