Update: There have been two comments about the slow response speed of this monitor. It's quite dated now, so best avoid it and choose something a little more recent. There are plenty of alternatives.

The monitor itself is black with white buttons at the front bottom of the monitor.

Great Deal on 19" LCD

 

Bought this for a digital audio workstation. Huge screen and helps with mixdown and recording monitoring. Not into gaming so I couldn't comment on it's reliability in that field. But if you're looking for a big screen for everyday use, movie playback,...

Clear picture, brilliant colors, cheap for size. Nice auto adjust feature. Easy on the eyes

Nice!

 

I would buy more of these for the rest of my office. Very happy with them.

I bought two of them for a dual screen setup as I work all day in front of a display. The picture is crisp and no dead pixels. Running 1280/1024 @ 32 bit color depth the words and pictures are very clear and readable almost like having a 20" CRT

The base of these screens is cheap and not very effective

My dad bought this for me as a birthday present. I have had it for about 3 months now. Its a huge screen! compared to my old 14 inch crt. It does great for gaming. I play F.E.A.R. on this monitor and it shows all the textures and doesnt ghost at all. I...

Big screen, cheap, great contrast. no ghosting for me

When i start games the annoying "auto configuring screen" comes up for 2-3 seconds

Decent deal for the money

 

Great for office use. People who work with photos/video or like to game should get spend a little more and get a better model.

Reasonable price. Big display. Bright, vivid colors

Hard to find the info but this is NOT a 24-bit color display. Side by side with a genuine 24-bit monitor you can see the difference

Very nice!

 

For pro's I'd like to say its a very nice monitor and very sharp. It is everything I could have wanted in a budget LCD I mean its a huge screen with a clear view

No cons except BEWARE This monitors actual MS time is 16ms not 12ms as stated on the spec sheet

We bought about 1000 of these. They are good for regular use and for the price. They are very suseptible to stuck pixels wich are very annoying and don't have the best quality. If you are a gamer save your money

Beautiful Image, Watch for Ghosting!

 

Acer is the finest quality in LCD monitors, no doubt. The image is rich and virant and beautiful. If you are playing FPS like Counter-Strike and BF2, however, you will notice ghosting. I ran it against the 12ms AL1914 and the differences were certain....

Excelent picture quality and not one dead pixel. Don't think that the low price will only get you a low quality monitor. We also use these monitors at my workplace and they are on 24/7. No screensavers, just actual programing screens that display the...
