Shipped with no dead pixels the first time and good contrast. Still working great after 7 years of heavy use making it my longest lasting flat screen display by far

On-board speakers are not to be taken seriously with tinny sound and no bass(I mean, the speakers are thinner than the screen, so this is a given).
