Love it!

 

Using this with my Thinkpad T420s with single USB 3.0 port. Portability is great, screen quality is great. I've never noticed any performance issues, though I haven't tried video. Great solution for having a second monitor on the road.

Perfect

 

Doesn't work so well with USB 2.0, but I expected that. I would not use this as a gaming display.

Light weight, easy to use, great color, great video. I use this mostly for documents. I have USB 3.0. This thing has been a big hit at work and now everyone wants to use mine.

Great form factor, but....

 

The cons above are not enough for me to return this, but it certainly does not feel like a $180 display. The colors are washed out, the contrast is not crisp, and the brightness is only a fraction of what my main laptop (Yoga 900) is capable. I find...

- Light - Works great over a single USB 3.0 connection (power and display) - Works without drivers/applications - 1080p resolution is great

- Washed out colors - Not crisp - Display feels sluggish/slow

The Asus MB169B is a great portable monitor with great picture quality only let down by the case that doubles as a stand. In essence you lay the stand down and pop up the flap on Velcro to rest the monitor against, The monitor does not always securely...

Best portable second monitor I've seen

 

This is the perfect second monitor when travelling. Ideal for hotel rooms, customer premises, etc. No external power supply required. Just a single cable from a USB port for picture and power. The picture is a little dark due to USB power restrictions...
