Good not Great

 

3 Months now.......working good. 1 dead pixel all the way to the right-no big deal. Good color, the stand is solid - overall I'd buy another

Almost 2 years and still great!

 

Wish I could have gotten another one of these over the HZ281 I just got. Of course it was quite a bit less money but, I'd have preferred this one even with the higher price tag. Then my monitors would match perfectly and I have 2 adjustable stands!!

Great size, great quality, pretty great stand, no complaints at all, no dead pixels

dead after 1 week

 

Newegg service is first class. No problem returning and refunding it. They even pay the return shipping fee. Five stars for Newegg.

Big, inexpensive, with 1920x1200 pixels. Most other 27" or 28" monitor are 1920*1080

Video quality not as great as other. Height adjustment is not easy. But worst of all, after one week of normal usage, the video will shut off for ~15 seconds that it will come back again. And the off-on cycle will repeat itself again and again after a...

I played "Taps" for it.

Great while it lasted for nearly two years ; HUGE 27.5 inches ; Bright, Decent color and contrast (although not the best)

I've been a computer hardware enthusiast for 14 years and this was the first piece that has ever died on me ; I went to sleep last night and woke up this morning and the monitor would just not turn on ; Tried EVERYTHING to get it to turn on. It's dead....

Not happy with Hanns-G either

 

Right now, here on Newegg's website, the Hanns-G HZ281HPB states that it comes with a 3 years parts warranty and a 3 year labor warranty. Says nothing about the panel is covered for only 1 year. This was the same when I purchased my monitor back in...

None. Even the low price over the long term is not cheap. You have to replace these monitors much, much sooner than you would other brand names

I like Aaron D agree that the warranty stated by Hanns-G does not match up. I purchased my 28" Hanns-G monitor back in January 2007 and by January 2009 I was starting to get white specs all over my screen from time to time. Kind of like pixels getting...

Wish I could afford 10 of them

 

Bought another one of these after my old one started dying... after over 3 years of very heavy usage. Very happy with the HannsG HG281D monitors.

Cheap. Less than 400 bucks for over 500 square inches of high resolution goodness. <drool ; No dead pixels, plug 'n' play perfectly. Very fast response time

big is beautiful

 

over all i am happy with the hanns-g. it performs as advertised and is a major upgrade to my old 18" monitor

ive had this thing for about a year now. it arrived with one dead pixel which i was able to rub back to life and hasnt given me any problems since then ; resolution is true 1920X1200 ; screen is crisp and sharp

it does bleed color pretty bad in dark backgrounds but i knew it would do this after reading some of the reviews ; for some reason it doesnt go into standby after my hdmi input source turns off
