HP L1908w 19in monitor

Looking at some of the seemingly ridiculous sub-$300 price tags attached to 22in monitors, it's obvious that larger screens are quickly becoming avail...

Rugged design

Doesn't have a digital DVI connector -- only RGB is included, poor viewing angles

It's undoubtedly no stunner on hardware, but the HP L1908w's specifications are palatable given the price tag. And this screen is all about that price.

WHAT'S HOT: Hewlett-Packard's 19-inch P920 rendered pleasing color and delicately detailed graphics, along with fine, clear text. The P920 can achieve a maximum resolution of 1920 by 1440 (at 70 Hz), making it ideal for viewing big documents (although...

HP L1908w

HP's L1908w delivers a cheap but acceptable experience for users on a tight budget who don't want to risk a "no-name" brand display.

Solid base ; Acceptable image quality

No DVI port ; Not great at extreme angles

There's no denying that HP's attached a price premium to the L1908w, purely because it carries a little HP badge on the side. If you want to buy a cheaper LCD, there are plenty about -- even models larger than 19-inch widescreen if you hunt around a...

HP L1908w 19in monitor

With a lip-smacking price tag this 19in HP L1908w looks to be a genuine bargain. Expect it to be widely available for around £130 by the time you read this.

This monitor is worthless.. blury as heck... so blury it is not useable at all. Your eyes will hurt after using it only a few minutes.

None

Blury ; Visually looks like the monitor is warped in the middle which also plays with your eyes ; Don't even think about looking at the monitor if you try to scroll text or anything on it
