Great Buy!

 

I had bought an Acer 21.5" monitor a couple months ago, but this one looks so much bigger! It's super flat and glossy, which gives it an amazing look.

After Thoughts

 

Looks good for the price, but problems with it would definitely keep me from buying another of the same model if I wanted to multi monitor down the road.

After a few months, its still working ; Cheap, okay color, nice design

Faulty button is still annoying, have to press so hard the entire monitor lifts up about 3 inches off the desk ; Contrast constantly resets itself to 32 when switching sources, or power is reset. Have to manually adjust back to 70 range every time....

When I bought this monitor on HP official site, there was only one review on the HP site and no review on any other sites. The only review back then on the HP site is a 1-star review, complaining about hardware detection problem. This 1-star review...

Highest resolution available ; Sharp, clear image ; Great brightness and bright/dark contrast ; Built-speakers appear great to me (not an audio expert, but a normal gamer)

Glossy is good

 

Bought elsewhere, but wanted to tip the Newegg community to a great monitor, IMHO.

tack-sharp, colorful, good contrast and viewing angle, dithering almost at the limit of perception, wrapped up in an appealing frame and stand. For an inexpensive TN panel this is as good as it gets. No light-scattering, pixel-blurring, roughed-up...

For my application, none, but the small (but undistorted) speakers are not satisfying for music
