EPI-1401 Steel Woodburning Fireplace Insert - EPI-1401

Will use this year to heat home, use our furnace as supplemental. Believe it'll be better than a wood stove out into the room. Best price out there, we did our homework!

Great deal. Works great. Beautiful to look at lite or not. Burns hot and quickly; damper does not seem to take down the flame much. Seems like burn time is maybe 4 hours before fan stops. Not long enough to go through the night, but still worth the money.

We have a bi-level home with the fireplace downstaris. We are able to heat the downstairs as well as part of the upstairs as the heat travels up the stairs. We are hoping to save a little on our electric bill!
