Great Picture

 

Bought for 20 on Craigslist as backup to my LCD. LCD died and this one has a better picture quality in many ways. Either get a very good and expensive flat screen with an extended warranty or search Craigslist for a good NEC or Viewsonic old school...

It's true what the other reviews say. It's max res is 2048x1536.

It will be a very long time still before LCD can actually compete with CRT monitors. I also have a 2ms widescreen LCD from ViewSonic that cannot come close to comparing with this thing ; This monitor is CRT, therefore has no "native resolution

It's heavy. It was a real pain using this instead of one of my LCD monitors for the BYOC at Quakecon '07

Ridiculous purchase

 

I've owned this monitor for 18 months. One day the colors faded together so that nothing was legible, so I called up NEC to get a refurbished model (under the 3 year warranty). 1st monitor came with fingermarks on the inside of the screen & the screen...
