Freezes - Must be hard reset often.

 

7 years and I am just now thinking about purchasing a new monitor but I don't really need too since I won't be upgrading by that much. But that's how good this monitor is.

I bought this beast in 2008 and it's been through 2 moves and three high end gaming computers and I'm still gaming on it. 7 years old and still looks good with no dead pixels. There maybe a few but I can't see them. Absolutely great purchase

Great Monitor on DVI

 

Replaced my Viewsonic VX1935wm which I was verry happy with. Ran it with dvi, and wow, the new one is much brighter and crisper.

Great picture, bright and clear. No dead pixels. DVI working on my Nvidia 8800GT cards. I saw a review with a guy saying it didn't work on his nvidia cards. Mine did not auto display the dvi, I had to push the source buttom on the front panel to switch...

not much really other than "hello sexy lcd" ^^

this monitor is terrific, best size for computer, any bigger than this would be like watch your tv up close (bad for your eye) ; FLAWLESS ; two thumbs up

picture looks good

one dead pixel when the LCD is right out of the box with power turned on, quality is no good, also learned I have to pay for the shipment to get replaced with newegg.com, will live with this dead pixel, most of time, it is not noticable

For 249 is a great deal. But dont' expect it to be a CRT or a work place LCD.

Nice size, Excellent Price, text is very clear. Seem very well made, doesn't seem cheap

Extremly hard to deal with the menu. The magic color is a waste of time. Way to bright, need some time adjusting the colors. I am still working on mines

MAYBE ITS TOO BRIGHT-LOL-BUT THATS ADJUSTABLE AND YOU HAVE TO BE A LITTLE CARFULL WITH GLOSSY FINISH FOR SCRATCHES, BUT MONITOR LOOKS GREAT

Beautiful Picture

 

It's an expensive VGA LCD for me, because the DVI doesn' work.

This LCD has a beautiful picture and it came with NO dead pixels! I'm happy about that! I would have given it 5 stars but my DVI won't work, only analog. I have the nVidia 9600GT video card and it works fine with my wife's 22 in Dell LCD

DVI (digital signal) doesn't work with nVidia 9600GT video card, only analog VGA. Actually, this LCD won't pick up DVI with my other nVidia cards neither. Bummer

Very good choice

 

This monitor is very nice, it does offer an auto power off feature, which can be set in hours, which is nice if you forget to power off, and windows forgets to powersave :) I've used pretty much every feature on this monitor aside from the vga D-sub....

first off its a samsung. it looks amazing, the base is nice (swivel / tilt) high gloss looks nice next to a high gloss case :) I haven't seen ANY ghosting, Excellent for video/gaming, and enough desktop space for audio/video editing, this is a top...

The frame is a little bulky, so if you want multi view your gonna have a thick block in between your displays

Samsung outsprint Dell

 

processor AMD 6400 x2, mainboard asus m2n-e, memory kingston hyper X 6400 4x1 gig, seagate sata serial ata 160 gb, his ati video card 1950pro, medium towe case. about 12 fans install, run warn to hot,,,, i plays the latest game very good.

This is far better than dell.22 inch. picture quality is superb, what i like most is that its very simply on your eye. stepping up from a samsung 17"inche 710n, i observe lots of improvement like more picture to look at. samsung is now the leader in...

the anti glare lamination that they used on this is not layed on properly,,,,i give only 90% accuracy!...there is one only one spot that look like a dead pixel....it look like a waterdrop. kinda nagging because am aware that its there! it show every...

Great Monitor

 

If you have an older monitor, CRT or LCD, and you didn't pay a lot of money for it, you will be amazed by how great a new monitor can be. The Samsungs cost a little more, but it is worth it!

Picture is exquisite, colors are great (with a little setup), good contrast and brightness, and on and on and on. This monitor is a fantastic value
