Excellent Monitor

 

If you want a 24" monitor, look no further. Zero lag for watching movies with the fast response time.

I got a Sceptre on the recommendation of a friend who was telling me of it's excellent response time (2 Milliseconds.) He was so right, everything is crisp and clear, and the price is definitely right for a 24" monitor. It looks great too ; It had one...

Buying something other than a Sceptre, which would be more expensive and probably not as good would be a con

was "Scept'ical" :p, but...

 

was a lil sceptical of the brand name, but it has proven dependable.

great price for size and rez ; has been very dependable for a long time

small blue led pwr lite at bottom is so bright that it was irritating, but I just stck a small piece of black elec tape over it

so glad to see this back!

 

These are monitors NOT tvs, the built in speakers are horrid. As far as a monitor goes these have a very high value. I have 2 hooked threw DVI to a XFX 5870 XXX, games look amazing, they have a 60hz refresh so turn on vsync and game on. Not one dead...

picture and color are top notch ; small bezel (I have 2 getting 3 for eyefinity)

speakers - remove them make cheaper ; no tilt

Owned it for more than a year

 

I'm going to keep buying Sceptre only since I know that their products are reliable.

Dead after 62 days.

 

Worked well for first month to 6 weeks. Nice colors and contrast. I also have another sceptre monitor (diff. model) that has been performing great for a couple of years now

Started delaying wake up when moving mouse or pressing space bar at about 6 weeks. At 62 days, went dead, no power. Replaced cord, checked power with multimeter. Unit simply dead. I am currently attempting to RMA for repair to Sceptre. Not the easiest...

I wont buy anything from Sceptre Again.

High Resolution ; Fast Response Time ; Wide Variety of Conncetions

HDMI was Dead on Arrival ; Sceptre Wouldnt Honor their Warranty

Great price and just bought a second one.

Very clear picture and good HD. I have my computer next to a window where light shines in on the screen, before with my old monitor I would have to shut the blinds because of the glare, but this monitor I don't have to shut the blinds because there is...

Fantastic Monitor (& Cheap!)

 

I won't put it as a con since I haven't actually measured the viewable area, but the screen does have a black border around it even though I'm at 1080p resolution (native). I guess that's why Sceptre calls it a 24" and Newegg calls it 23.6" Haven't...

Beautiful design, sleek black plastic all over. No dead pixels with a crisp bright display. Thin, light and all around a great buy ; For the price (<$170), you're not going to find a better monitor. End of discussion

Stand does feel cheap, but not unstable at all. I wish the screen's height on the stand could be adjusted ; Even though the stand isn't complicated, the instructions don't indicate that THE STAND HAS A FRONT AND BACK. Don't try and force the screen...

Great Quality, no dead pixels. Well priced

Stand is not adjustable. I like my acer H235H because of the buttonless design, but this was well priced
