Excellent Budget Machine

 

Can be a bit sluggish at times, but other than that the machine is well built and well! worth the money that you pay. The OS license alone is worth $100.00 OEM.

This machine is a great budget machine that will serve basic purpose including taxes, home machine, or just to surf the web

QA sticker blocking inside the case. Scratches on the front of the case when we got it

FANTASTIC!

 

Had a little problem when I pulled it out of the box -- that little packet of silicon balls that they put in packages to absorb moisture tore open and spilled inside of the computer case. I called eMachines, and they offered to ship it back to them to...

This machine is fantastic! I was up and running as soon as I turned it on. I'm a stay-at-home Mom using the computer for whatever things we moms use it for -- it works great for our family! I did add the maximum amount of RAM which made it a little...

Good buy at the price

 

A perfect fit for my mother who only uses it to upload photos and watch streaming video.

cheap, adequate for basic use (email, web browsing, music, video, etc.)

VGA graphic only, but I wouldn't expect anything better at this price anyway

Delivery was rapid and smooth.

Great price & great performance .. still has a real serial & parallel port and a real line-in/line-out capability .. no issues with DVD eject

VISTA Home Basic takes some work ... eMachines tech support is not usefull (use NewEgg Xpert forums for great support). Will not support IDE/ATA drives (but I knew that up front)

Works just fine for simple computer usage. No defects or hardware problems

needed to get extra 1 gig ram. Worked better with extra ram but that's a Vista problem not the hardware

Great Machine

 

Great bang for your buck.

Fairly small sized, comes all set up and ready to go. VERY NICE for the price. It's not the best computer I've ever seen but, for 239 there is no way you can beat, seems to be pretty unproblamatic thus far. Highly recommended for new users

The disc drive button is poorly located, which is definately not that big of a deal. Not enough to turn this bad boy down

I bought this computer because I liked the design, screen size, and touch screen interface. I have not been disappointed. This computer has proven to be stable, quiet, and integrates the touch screen in such a way that you can use it for just about...

For the price this is a good machine for home or small business use

It's larger than I anticipated and the button for opening the cd drive is to recessed. It takes to much to effort to open

great price and lots of bang for the buck...not a gamer machine but great for a user who just needs a basic internet and email machine and plays basic games

what can i say? it comes with vista! although emachines informs me that this model comes with xp also.newegg ought to stock a few of these with xp for us vista haters

I'd never owned an eMachines computer before, but so far, I'm not unimpressed. I initially had a problem getting the case back on (I accidentally took off the side with the features sticker, and had to line up everything just right while at the same...

Cheap, powerful enough for just about anything, provided you're not a hardcore gamer

Faceplate feels a little bit flimsy and blocks access to optical drive button when open
