ChromeBox is the way to go

 

This is just another chromebox, but that is good. I use my Chromebox for everything I normal do. Before you buy another windows machine, investigate what Chromebox or Chromebook can do. This unit is typically of a Chromebox. Nothing fancy or unusual.

It will not do everything (video editing, etc), but anything that is web based is probably ok. Printing can be a hassle, but it is getting better

Klein formaat ; Voelt erg stevig ; Snel (genoeg voor wat ik ermee wil doen)

Geen HDMI kabel in de doos ; Klein fannetje op de CPU. Herrie valt mee maar toch....

Onlangs een HP Chromebox gekocht, de versie met 4Gb en 16GB SSD.. Niet voor ChromeOS maar om OpenElec op te draaien. Eenmaal aan de pruttel met OpenElec, start mijn mediaplayer op in zo'n 5 seconde! En inderdaad: zelfs met zijn lichte CPU draait alles...

Onlangs een HP Chromebox gekocht, de versie met 4Gb en 16GB SSD.. Niet voor ChromeOS maar om OpenElec op te draaien. Eenmaal aan de pruttel met OpenElec, start mijn mediaplayer op in zo'n 5 seconde! En inderdaad: zelfs met zijn lichte CPU draait alles...
