Very Frustrating

 

I bought this system for speed and stability to run Windows 7. I have an a6700y HP AMD Quad Core unit that runs Windows 7 RTM just as solid as a rock. It has never had a critical error. I only paid $399 for it refurbished. So how disappointed am I now...

Fast machine. Excellent value. I was about to do another custom build when I saw this. I couldn't build the same thing for the same price. It's just about impossible to bog this thing down. Plenty of ram and very fast

First one started giving me BSOD's the first day. Wasted a week trying to figure out the problem. Updated the drivers, Clean installed OS, did everything I could think of ... NO JOY. RMA'd the first system, set up the second, only to get random freeze...

kinda regret getting this computer..

it runs wow at 60 fps and blue ray

my computer got blue screen of death at first and my computer freezes on me most of the time when im on the the internet which i dont understand since its brand new with 9gb of ram

Great Machine

 

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new desktop system.

Its Fast, Its Quiet, Tried to price together a system with the same specs and couldn't come close. Windows 7 upgradable

Little room for upgrades. I had to replace my printer and scanner because there were no 64 bit drivers. Not really a flaw of this system, just something to keep in mind

I work in IT. So I get the OS's free. Why they won't give you Ultimate which is much better and has more features?

Specs are ok and worth the money without the MS tax. Got this system for a friend and they love it

Vista Home Preimum. That is the only reason for the lose of the egg

I received replacement last week. it gave me blue screen once but has been o.k since then. I turned off the hp advisor. It work great with the silicon dust HD tuner via home network. its fast for video editing. I copied 100mb verth photos from SD card...

fast computer, works great as a DVR with proper hardware

no much expansion capability

I bought a 50 ft DVI-HDMI cord to connect this computer to my 1080p TV. I was afraid that blue-ray movies wouldn't play perfectly... but they do! No problem at all. 6 USB ports indeed (not 2 as mentioned in another review) Good looking box - very...

Best bang for the buck! I looked around for a few days and couldn't find anything cheaper with these components (i7 processor, 9 Go memory, 1 Go NVIDIA card, flawless blue-ray reader)

Not configurable. I wish I could have made a couple of changes to this machine (e.g., upgrade to a 260 video card and get a blue-ray writer)
