MoBo Died after 2 days of use

I have 4 of these units. Afraid to sell them. reliability doesn't seem there strong point. Power supply seems OK!

Seemed like a nice unit for the money, Loade the system up with an Pentium D 945 1.5 gigs of DDR2-667 loaded operating system and software. All was fine

Put on the shelf back in the box to resell and 8 months later went to start it up and no post, no nothing except fans running. Motherboard went bad. Replaced the MoBo with a MSI P4M900M2 and back in business, but lost any chance of making a profit....

Trumendous Value

Celeron 430, 2GB Corsair CAS4, Cooler Master TX2 without fan (using the case fan to cool the CPU), and 4 WD WD10EACS 1TB SATA 5400 RPM drives. To support 4 drives, pick up an extra Molex to SATA converter - NewEgg has 'em.

I bought this to make into a Windows Home Server. I was looking for the smallest case which would take 4 hard drives. I also wanted it to be silent. The power supply fan is very quiet, so only the case fan required a Zalman controller to temper. A...

As the other reviewers have noted, the case is thin metal, and the motherboard flexes quite a bit. Take this into account when you select and install components. No big heavy heat sinks, and I would stick to low power CPUs. If you intend to put in 4...

great for the price

computer died, could have spent $100 fixing it (old dell optiplex 260), instead transfered my HDD and periphs to this system and spent $250 total building a much better, faster, upgradeable, and future proof machine (realitively speaking)

very nice feature set, lots of expandability, nice looking case. Very good value for a average system. Also find MSI's overclocking program neat (although probably not worth that much, don't know enough about overclocking to say authoritatively))

case is on the cheap side - be careful removing drive blanks or you could warp or bend the case. would like another pci slot (but cant hold that against them as I knew what it came with)

Cheap RAID box

There're 5 internal 3.5 bays not 4 as said in the spec.

Plenty of room. Power supply good enough to run 5 1T hard drives and assorted fans

Mounting slots on the external 3.5 bays do not line up with hard drives. Only one case fan in the back with no way to mount one in front of hard drive cage

Great Build

Easy build for anyone trying to build their own system. Recommended A+

Box came with all cables attached all i had to do was install CPU, Ram, Drives and go. System fired right up

Sort of flimsy design. Very light

Awesome

I love this MSI barebone system! It came with all cables attached to the motherboard so all I had to do was install the CPU, RAM, drives, and go! The case is simple and lightweight with lots of space for drives and cards. It fired up right away without...

Motherboard is a bit dated, only supporting 800 Mhz bus instead of 1066 or better, but I knew that when I bought it, and cannot expect the best for only about $100 for the case, PSU, and mobo!

Easy as pie

Built with Intel Pentium E2220 Allendale 2.4GHz, Kingston 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (4 gig total)

Assembled in 10 minutes. Everything was there. Fastest build and install I have done to date thanks to my version of XP with SP 2 slipstreamed.

none so far

Light, Cheap, Good

Other reviewers spoke about available spots for HD/DVD expansion and lack of power - you started with 380 watts (400 quoted), that is enough for 2-3 devices and no video card. If you want to add more buy a bigger PSU 500-1000W. This is no shuttle, but...

Price! color and shape. Lots of room for expansion. Instructions are very thorough. All drivers were included and installation was a snap. The stock heat sink and fans included blow nice cold air - even under load.

The blue light on the front of the box is mighty bright. The VGA outlet feels pretty wobbly, be really careful and make sure it is firmly attached. There was only 1 SATA cable included, last I checked it takes more than one SATA cord to build a...
