Prices start at around £450 for a model with an Intel Core i3 processor, but our review unit typically costs £500, and runs with a 1.8 GHz Core i5, 6 GB of memory and 750 GB hard drive. And alongside the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000, the X552CL...

The X552CL isn't perfect, and the limited viewing angles of the screen definitely leave room for improvement. However, it does provide good performance for a laptop in this price range, and the inclusion of the GT 710M makes this one of the few budget...

Windows always updating, very basic pc! Old acer was much quicker. By the time you have spent out on this with extra software packages, ie office, virus...you might as well brought Apple Mac! Don't buy if you want a half decent laptop get Apple or Lenovo

The battery does not hold it's charge overnight from new. the laptop has had to be collected by a courier to go to a service centre and then it will be returned by courier after 7 to 10 days. This situation is totally unsatisfactory.

Performs well for the price.

Keys from the keyboard start to fall off after a few months. Battery life isn't great either.

Hasnt struggled running anything I've thrown at it so far.

Windows 8 is... well... Windows 8. Only other downside is the trackpad supporting software is awful!
