Lenovo LaVie Z 360

The Lenovo LaVie Z 360 brings an almost impossibly light design to convertible-hybrid ultraportables, but it means compromises in performance.

Amazingly lightweight. Convertible-hybrid design. WQHD (2,560-by-1,440) display. Surprisingly full feature set.

Expensive. Flimsy construction. Reflective, smudge-prone display. Confusing keyboard layout. Weak audio. Middling performance in our tests.

Conclusion Despite so many other thin and light convertible-hybrid systems on the market, the Lenovo LaVie Z 360 manages to stand out as the lightest of the bunch. That said, without the weight claim, it's tough to make a case for buying the system....

Lenovo's LaVie Z 360 hybrid reviewed

The full-power 13-inch Lenovo LaVie Z 360 is a super-light hybrid with high-end performance.

This 13-inch touchscreen hybrid weighs just a hair over two pounds and includes a powerful high-end processor.

The keyboard is poorly laid out, and this model is heavier and more expensive than the non-touch version. The screen only autorotates in tablet mode.

The Lenovo LaVie Z is an impressive engineering feat, but unless you need the touch screen and 360-degree hinge, stick with the less-expensive, lighter, non-touch model.

Lenovo Ideapad Z360

The Lenovo IdeaPad Z360 has a great user experience and some nifty wireless features, but it's neither good-looking nor battery efficient enough to be worth parting with your hard earned money.

Spacious 500GB hard drive. WiDi and WiMax equipped. Excellent keyboard and navigating experience.

3GB of RAM (every other laptop has 4GB). Lackluster battery life. Dated look. No other color options.

Lenovo LaVie Z 360 review

The 'world's lightest laptop,' but at what cost?

The lightest 2-in-1 laptop ; Stellar performance ; Full-sized ports

Too expensive ; Buggy hybrid modes ; Dreadful speakers ; Feels flimsy

Weighing in at 2.04 pounds, the Lenovo LaVie Z 360 might be the easiest hybrid laptop to sling around – it's too bad that using the notebook is almost an entirely disappointing experience.

Review Lenovo IdeaPad Z360 Notebook

13.3 inch All-Rounder. Lenovo reinforces its z Series with a representative in the 13 inch division with the Z360. The IdeaPad Z360 is small and light enough to be taken along everywhere with a weight of a bit over two kilos. Find out if it's really...

Nice, elegant design, Pleasant chiclet keyboard, Good workmanship, Battery life, Value for money ratio, Typing and working on the 13.3 inch notebook was a very pleasant experience

Interface placement too concentrated on the left, Display brightness, A stronger graphics card. The performance difference to currently installed GPUs is too slight to make a significant difference when switching to the "stronger" GPU

Lenovo's LaVie Z 360 hybrid reviewed

While the Lenovo LaVie Z is an impressive clamshell laptop with an Intel Core i7 processor that weighs under two pounds, you might be even more impressed with the LaVie Z 360, its touchscreen hybrid cousin.

Lenovo LaVie Z 360 Review: A Lightweight Laptop For Those On The Go

Upon receiving this Notebook from Lenovo, I thought to myself “eh, another laptop. Not much different from what I've used before.” Well, I was wrong. This Notebook is worth speaking of highly. I can see why Lenovo has won the CES…

I know I’ve already stated it before, but Lenovo definitely has a reason why they won the CES Best of 2015 award. The build, the specs, a gorgeous screen, and the “light as a feather” moment when holding it. This is a laptop that I would use until it...

Lenovo LaVie Z 360 Review: Same PC, Better Deal

In the early days of the Windows 2-in-1 we wished every notebook made by one of Microsoft's partners was a refashioned version of the notebooks we already loved. Some companies tried that to great results. Lenovo is now trying it with its Lenovo LaVie...

The 13.3-inch touchscreen is gorgeous and the 2-in-1 capabilities better justify its compromises. Overall, I think the LaVie Z 360 is a well-rounded, better machine than the classic LaVie Z. Even better, its terrifically thin body and light chassis...
