Fitbit Ace

The Fitbit Ace is a simple, easy-to-use fitness tracker that helps kids have a fun time developing healthy habits.

Comfortable. Easy to use. Step tracking measures up to adult Fitbit models. Long battery life.

Display is sometimes unresponsive. No heart rate monitor.

The Fitbit Ace is a simple fitness tracker for kids. By focusing only on steps, activity, and sleep, they can start to build toward a healthy relationship with health and fitness. With interchangeable straps and a sophisticated design, it's a tracker...

Fitbit Ace review

It's a Fitbit that's - you know - for kids

Good design for kids ; Changeable straps ; Smart app skills

Expensive compared to competition ; Limited functionality compared to other Fitbit ; Easier if you own a Fitbit

With its reduced feature set and child-friendly reward system, the Fitbit Ace is the perfect device for parents who want to get their kids active without dazzling them with the full force of fitness tracking. Because it shares the same design as the...

Fitbit Ace review: Doing it for the kids

A fitness tracker specifically for children. Will your kids want this Fitbit? Should you allow them to have one? We think it's a good idea.

Designed for children ; Parents create the accounts ; Doubles as a watch ; Lasts for a full school week on one charge ; Charger easy to attach ; Challenge friends

Display surface can scratch easily ; Buckle can be fiddly ; User management in the app could be better for multiple accounts (especially kids without their own phone)

Designed to children, with a sophisticated design that apes the adult equivalent, without needing each child to have a full account, the Ace is certainly an ace fitness tracker. Parents stay in control, while kids have enough freedom to keep them...

Fitbit Ace review

Beginner-level fitness tracking for small people

Excellent build quality ; Gets your kids moving ; Simple for them to use

Poor app implementation ; Too many features are phone-only ; Lack of child-friendly designs

The Ace succeeds in its goal of getting kids moving, but is liable to stress you out at the same time

Fitbit Ace review: A great way to encourage kids to stay active

An attractive fitness tracker for children, reasonably priced and easy to use

Attractive and easy to use ; Effective parental management tools

Setup confusing at first ; Battery life is only five days

Aside from those issues, however, it’s difficult to find fault with the Fitbit Ace. As a piece of hardware it does the job and looks excellent, and the accompanying software setup works well. For £80 it’s very reasonably priced, too.

Fitbit Ace review: An awesome activity tracker for kids, but a bit confusing

I'm 11 years old, and finally get to use a Fitbit! I love all the step and sleep tracking, but the Fitbit app isn't very clear.

Made for kids' wrists. ; Seems pretty accurate. ; Inspires kids to stay active and go to bed early. ; Up to five days of battery life.

Difficult to figure out how to use. ; The display sometimes is hard to turn on.

Made just for kid-sized wrists, the Ace has all the basic functions a kid would want to reach her daily step and sleep goals. But sometimes it's difficult to use.
