Huawei Watch 2 Classic Review: Good watch but a missed opportunity for Wear 2.0

 

The Huawei Watch 2 Classic isn't a bad watch by any means, but it doesn't meet the lofty expectations set by the original model.

Stainless steel accents give it a premium feel. ; Battery life is impressive and can be stretched for weeks. ; The leather strap is equally good for working out and dining out.

Its bigger, thicker, and less elegant than its predecessor. ; No digital crown for scrolling. ; Too much fitness and not enough fashion.

With just a handful of watches that can claim they are built for Android Wear 2.0, the Huawei Watch 2 Classic doesn’t have a ton of competition. And with Moto and Asus reportedly abandoning the Wear platform, that doesn’t seem likely to change anytime...

Huawei's first generation Android watch was a gem and when I got my hands on the Huawei Watch 2 Classic, I was rather surprised.

Nicer design than I expected ; Build quality is amazing ; Improved charging puck ; Android Wear 2.0 ; Good fitness tracking ; Heart rate monitor

Great looking easy to use.

 

I bought this to go with The phone. It's just as amazing. It's easy to use has loads of face choices to choose from. The work out is good. I bought it so I can Keep fit and keep an eye on my heart , but got much,much more.

Looks good

 

Only had the watch a few days, set up easy, battery life very poor, keeps losing connection. Don't know if it's because I have paired it with my apple iPhone I will see as I am upgrading to Huawei phone. Watch faces basic and not many to choose from...
