OUTSTANDING!

 

I didn't buy this phone because I'm hard of hearing. I bought it because I have normal hearing, but every commodity run of the mill phone out there has three problems... 1) its built like garbage, has poor reception, and operates at 5.8 GHz... 2)...

Reception (handset to base communication) is good over a 100 or so foot range, through several walls and floors. Base has builtin speakerphone (as does the handset), good quality answering machine (recording quality and playback is good). Base has...

Speakerphone is simplex (not duplex) - but that's not the end of the world - most speakerphones are simplex

Poor product (at least in our case)

 

The phone after about a year just would cut off your calls randomly. The base had a short in it and you had to jiggle the wire to get it to work again. We put up with that for a while.

Love it, but needs repair.

 

I use it in my business location. Wish it came in black. Volume boost does not work on speaker, only on hand set. Ringer volume control does not work on my set. 50 db increase in volume is super. At last I can hear customers without asking them to...

Works well ... hard for the Elderly to

 

Purchased phone for my 83 year old mom. She can hear OK but the volume dial is in a spot on the headset where she holds the phone. Most times she lowers the volume without realizing it.
