Expert Review

The proprietary headphone jacks and USB and Bluetooth 1.1 are a let down, however the A701 still remains a solid and well built handset with a good features list.

Lightweight and somewhat stylish, Excellent displays and user interface, Dual cameras, Touch sensitive external music controls, A2DP Bluetooth profile, Battery life

Hard to flip open with one hand, Glossy display means sunlight reflections and fingerprints, Proprietary headphone jack, USB and Bluetooth both 1.1

Proprietary charger and headphone connection ; Low internal memory

Given that you'd likely use the A701 far more intensively than a regular mobile phone, we suggest that while the battery life is a decent 3.7 hours of talk time and 320 hours on standby, you should charge this one every second evening in case a spate...
