Samsung Reclaim

These days, smartphones get all the buzz, but the vast majority of cell phones sold in the U.S. are actually feature phones: camera phones, music phones, waterproof phones, texting phones, or just plain voice phones.

Made from mostly recycled materials. Well-crafted slider mechanism and QWERTY keyboard. Solid music performance. Standard-size headphone jack

Short battery life. Sluggish Web browsing and video streaming. Not the greatest reception

The Samsung Reclaim is a solid messaging handset with plenty of thoughtful environmental touches.

Samsung Reclaim (Sprint)

The eco-minded will like the Samsung Reclaim, a svelte slider with a comfy QWERTY keyboard and plenty of green cred.

Made from mostly recycled materials. Well-crafted slider mechanism and QWERTY keyboard. Solid music performance. Standard-size headphone jack.

Short battery life. Sluggish Web browsing and video streaming. Not the greatest reception.

Samsung Reclaim SPH-M560 review

The Samsung Reclaim offers easy-to-use controls, midrange multimedia features, and an eco-friendly image.

The Samsung Reclaim's call quality wasn't completely top-notch and 3G speeds were a bit pokey.

The Samsung Reclaim is more than just a green gimmick. Its performance could be improved, but we welcome the messaging keyboard and functional feature set.

Eco credentials, easy to use, basic and simple

QWERTY keyboard hard to use, no Wi-Fi
