T-Mobile Sidekick Slide

The Sidekick loses its swivel and gains a slide, but will it still cut it?

However, Motorola has retained many of the other features that made the Sidekick unique. It still has a sideways on orientation, which makes it feel more like a games console than a mobile, and means you have to hold it in both hands to use the mini...

T-Mobile Sidekick Slide Test Report

Offsetting the compact, convenient design are a cramped keyboard and smaller screen (in comparison with the Sidekick LX).

Compact for a Sidekick ; One-handed slide design

T-Mobile Sidekick Slide

The Slide, like other Sidekick models, features a user-friendly OS, but, sadly, it's too difficult to type on.

Smaller than other Sidekick models. Solidly built. Easy-to-use OS.

Slippery, crammed keyboard. Subpar camera. Reception isn't great.

T-Mobile Sidekick Slide review

Motorola-made Sidekick goes for the youth market

Automatic back up of data ; Qwerty keyboard ; Easy messaging features ; Memory card supplied

Large and heavy ; Low quality camera with no video ; Limited Bluetooth ; Lack of 3G limits multimedia facilities

The Sidekick remains an attractive break from the norm, but it lacks too much by way of features to represent a truly appealing proposition

T-Mobile Sidekick Slide mobile phone

T-Mobile has launched its third Sidekick device that promises messaging on the go for the "kids". Should you bother, or forget Paris Hilton and grab one sharpish? The T-Mobile Sidekick Slide looks to be a good messaging phone for the "kids". The robust...

Qwerty keyboard, large screen, instant messaging support

Only 1.3 megapixel camera, quad-band, no Wi-Fi

The T-Mobile Sidekick Slide looks to be a good messaging phone for the "kids". The robust redesign, QWERTY keyboard, large screen and instant messaging features will certainly appeal.

T-Mobile Sidekick Slide review

The Sidekick remains the BlackBerry messaging device for the cooler mySpace brigade. But can the new Slide model still keep it real with the young'uns?

T-Mobile Sidekick Slide Scarlet released

Today T-Mobile released the new Sidekick Slide Scarlet, retailing at $199.99 with a two-year service agreement. This version retains the slide screen and QWERTY keyboard but manages to slim down the size of the design to 4.6 x 2.4 x .68 inches and...

Review: Sidekick Slide - Best Sidekick Since Original

Given a new color scheme and a slightly reduced size, it feels fun again. If the developers could do something about its poor e-mail and lack of Wi-Fi support, we'd be ready to rave about it

The Sidekick LX may offer a little more, but we prefer the slender good looks of the Slide. This is the future of the Sidekick brand: slimmer models, same great performance

T-Mobile - Sidekick Slide

The Sidekick Slide is a funny old thing. Exclusive to T-Mobile in the UK, it looks like no other mobile phone we've seen - apart from other members of the Sidekick family. And while it does ...

Distinctive, though chunky, the Sidekick Slide is definitely one for a certain type of in-crowd. Just make sure you have a large pocket to carry it in.
