An awesome 51-inch plasma TV for less than £750.

Great value ; Excellent 2D and 3D pictures ; Expansive Smart TV features

Slightly sluggish Smart menus at times ; Pictures not as bright as LCD ones ; Standard definition images lose a little colour naturalism

This can be particularly aggravating when using the voice recognition system, as there’s quite a lengthy delay between first pressing the Voice button on the remote and the voice menu appearing.

The Samsung F5500 plasma offers great features and very good picture quality, but like the gremlins it hates bright lights.

The Samsung F5500 Plasma TV has the same panel as the , but comes packed with more features. It adds 3D and Samsung's Smart TV interface. The screen still reflects a lot of light, so you will need a dark viewing environment to enjoy it.
