Panasonic's Lumix DMC-FX36 is an impressive compact camera combining good quality 10-megapixel images with a smooth design and some great beginner modes. Unfortunately, the price tag will put it out of reach for some users.
Sharp images, sturdy slick design, great automatic modes for beginners
Some noise issues even at low sensitivities, expensive

A worthy successor to the FX33, the FX36 is a compact powerhouse capable of delivering decent-quality pictures and HD videos.
25mm wide-angle lens ; HD-quality video recording ; Elegant design ; Maximum ISO of 6,400

This is arguably one of the best cameras on the market at the moment.
25mm wide lens ; Compact pack with feature ; HD video most camera dont have even canon ; Quick startup ; Lens quality
4x optical zoom....wish they can fit 8x zoom without fault issues in camera size like this one...its a big ask. But I'm confident Panasonic will pull it off shortly

While I enjoy photography, unfortunately I am a very lazy photographer. I know I should use an SLR for the best shots but I can never be bothered to carry around a heavier camera or struggle with the focussing. I know a choice of lenses would help me ...
Great camera build, good photos, good battery power and simple to use.
Flash not great

I have to confess, the only reason I bought the FX35 was for its ability to shoot 720p HD video (actually it’s QuickTime Motion JPEG). This even though, having owned over a half dozen digital cameras in the past 8 years, I know a digital...
