I'm still not sure why this 'red' DC35 was such a deal compared to the otherwise identical 'blue' model but we are very happy with our second Dyson product.

Lightweight and easy to manuever. The DC35 is good at sucking up dust and and works great on wood floors. Did not have an issue with the battery life, enough time to clean 1000 square feet of floors.
