I am a previous Dyson owner who loved my previous machine. This little canister has the ball feature and the all the features of my previous larger machine.

does a great job, but the vacuum arm feels cheaply made. Would be better if it had on/off controls in the arm. If you bump the right side of the brush, it will stop spinning. Not a big deal as you can restart it, but its pretty easy to do.

It's been years since I used a canister vac and this one is great. it moves effortlessly and has great suction. is really easy to empty too.

We had to replace our old Kirby vacuum, and needed something on that caliber. The Dyson met all requirements. We have a number of pets, and the Animal Vac does an excellent job with pet hair. We are very pleased with our Dyson.
