One of these days vendors will "get" open firmware but until then we have products like this. Great hardware with OK firmware.

Looks great, solid functionality

 

Purchased this as a gift for someone and preloaded pics on it. We tested it out for about 2 weeks and loved it. It's quality is so much better than most of the digital picture frames I've seen. Although it does not have bluetooth/wireless...

Great looking Frame ; choice of mattes ; great picture ; lots of viewing features ; internal memory ; plays video, sound, and pics ; glass face

menu was confusing; took a while to get the hang of it ; manual not particularly helpful ; preloaded pics from HP will play if not deleted ; no bluetooth or wireless ; off-angle viewing is no bueno

Nice photo frame

 

Wished it had a timer setting to only run during set hours.

Bright screen and nice looking real wood frame and mattes

Still not very good on off-angle viewing, but not a big issue where we use it (and it is better than some of the others I looked at). Our remote with the hole-less matte installed is a bit finicky

Reeks of quality!

 

This thing is just great. When you handle it, it reeks of quality and is a pleasure to use. Picture quality is very good and picture size is big enough to be pleasant to view. No negaitive other than price. HP hit a home run.

Very high build quality. Glass screen cover, very decent and proper 800x600 resolution, remote control, intuitive menu system, easy to upload 800X600 images, lots of display options, CF and SD slots, much more than adequate 0.5GB internal memory...300...

Not as inexpensive as some
