The two-part construction and long connecting cable make the POV.HD much bulkier than the competition. The mounting options included in the box can be confusing and may require hand tools to set up.

If money is no object and you want the maximum flexibility from your HD sports camera, the V.I.O. POV.HD is one of the best. However, the considerable bulk and high price tag will likely deter most.

If you buy.. also get the optional mounting kit.

 

Excellent camera that I swap from a headband mount for walking around to a fixed mount on my truck while I work. Takes rain and snow like a champ. I recommend it with the extra mount kit.

- weatherproof - with extra mounting kit, tons of options - on the fly highlight reel

- finding a place to store recording unit - takes a bit to figure out the mounts included with camera (fixed if you watch the tutorial though)
