This is basically a good mike with video for reference. For the price it should have a much better lens and image processing. It is atrocious in low light and the lens is a wide angle with huge distortions on the edges. Very disappointed.

Limited "zoom" function has 5 zones, not a smooth transition. On no zoom, the image distorts slightly around edges (fish eye)and is more pronounced than at close zoom. Audio quality is superb, and probably better than any cam in its class/ price range....

This product is excellent as an audio recorder, but the video looks terrible. It has very little dynamic range which makes it very difficult to color grade and the out of camera image looks pretty sad. The curve on the wide angle lens is unacceptable....

Great for recording audio... If your more than 10ft away from target forget video. Lens is simply too wide.

It is a great little audio recorder but the video quality is bad! If you have anything better than a cell phone to record video it will do better than this. I us an Samsung NX1 and 2 Sony action cams(FDR-X1000V). The Zoom does a better job with audio....
