Bose SoundSport Free review: Bose's first truly wireless headphones are designed for sport but a chunky design and fiddly controls mean these aren't perfect.
Secure fit ; Good sound quality ; Robust build ; Decent battery life
Chunky design ; Difficult-to-use buttons ; Large charging case
Bose’s first truly wireless earbuds don’t quite hit the mark, even if there’s a lot to like.

5 hours of battery life ; IPX4-rated waterproofing ; Good bass response ; Comfortable
Large form factor ; Pricier than similar competitors
With five hours of battery life, limited waterproofing, and good sound, the Bose SoundSport Free are a well-made entry into the fully wireless headphone market – especially if you’re a bass lover. Still, you can get better fully wireless headphones for...

While they can't quite pass muster in noisier environments, these excellent-sounding earbuds are great for the gym.
Excellent, balanced sound Built for abuse Good battery life
Awful ambient noise isolation Earbuds fit loosely and stick out Comparatively expensive
The Bose SoundSport Free are an excellent sounding pair of wireless headphones with an ultra-reliable connection. They can an easily withstand the abuses of working out, however, their poor fit and open design will turn many casual listeners away.

Although some small design gripes remain, Bose's SoundSport Free are among the best totally wireless earphones available now.
Bose's SoundSport Free, a set of totally wireless earphones, offers richer sound than Apple's AirPods and a more secure fit. The buds are water-resistant and durable, battery life is decent and a charging case provides two extra charges on the go.
The buds stick out pretty far from your ears. The case is a little large compared to the AirPods' and Jabra Elite 65t's cases.
Although Bose's SoundSport Free may not be perfect, thanks to some software upgrades and a price drop, it's become one of the best -- and best sounding -- totally wireless earphones.
Avis d'expert par : What Hi-Fi? (whathifi.com)
Bose's truly wireless in-ears are almost the perfect package.
Weighty, full-bodied sound ; Deep, powerful bass ; Even tonal balance
Unreliable wireless connection between earbuds
Impressive features and impressive sound to boot – we’d just like a more stable connection
Avis d'expert par : Tim Gideon (pcmag.com)
The Soul Run Free Pro HD earphones deliver deep bass, but are too expensive for what they offer. You can do better for the price.

But that comes at a cost in more ways than one
Fantastic sound ; Water resistant ; Rock solid connection
They struggle in loud environments ; Don’t always sync with video ; High price tag

The bass-forward Bose SoundSport Free earphones are expensive, but nail the design and operational details better than any other pair in the growing wire-free category.
Avis d'expert par : Tim Gideon (pcmag.com)
The bass-forward Bose SoundSport Free earphones are expensive, but nail the design and operational details right better than any other pair in the growing wire-free category.
Powerful audio performance with boosted bass response. Exceptionally secure fit. Water-resistant design. Simple, easy-to-use on-ear controls. App simplifies pairing process.
Expensive. Very sculpted sound signature.
I was starting to wonder until recently if I'd ever review a pair of true wireless earphones that isn't overshadowed by its flaws. With the SoundSport Free, Bose gets the design, fit, ease of use, and sound quality down in a way that the competition...

While they don't have some of the smart fitness features you get in the likes of the Lifebeam Vi or Jabra Elite Sport, the SoundSport Free are
Great sound ; Comfortable to wear for long periods ; Battery life is immense ; Nifty "find my earbuds" feature ; Solid connection
Design means the buds stick out quite a bit ; No customisable equaliser ; No heart-rate monitor ; Buttons are hard to press
While the Bose doesn't have some of the smart fitness features you get in the likes of the
