I purchased this product as John Lewis state it is dishwasher safe. Please note the manufacturer does NOT recommend that any parts of the Risotto Plus are washed in a dishwasher. Very misleading John Lewis.

I have used several times for risotto and slow cooking and it works very well. Unlike some slow cookers it doesn't cook too fast on the slow cook setting so can be left all day, then it helpfully keeps warm. It didn't cook brown risotto rice well...
