Great while they lasted...

 

There have been other comments with the same issues, so perhaps we all ended up with drives out of the same bad batch, but I'll pass on OCZ products from here on out.

Ordered two of these at the end of June and put them in the systems early July. These were the first foray into SSD's at work and the boot up's were blazing fast, less than 15 seconds from pushing the button to full functionality

They worked great for several weeks, but it didn't take long for small issues to begin showing up. After only 3 months of use one of the computers BSOD this morning. We'll be sending these back to OCZ and have already ordered the Samsung 850 Pro's

Solid and great

 

I like the solid construction of the physical SSD, it feels solid and performs great. Boot times are really quick on Windows 8.1. No more slow downs like on my old HDD

None I can think of! The read speeds seem a little slow than the write speeds though

Drives Failed

 

Never again OCZ I gave you a shot to fix the issue you guys knew I was already upset and still sent back my broken drives. You win I guess. I am looking into Samsung 840 EVOs or 850 Pros have not made my decision yet.

RMA replacement for Vertex 3

 

I was very pleased with the 1 day turnaround on my RMA. The fact that they sent a brand new, latest model drive is also amazing. Other RMA's I have done through other companies usually end up being a refurbished product.

RMA for Vertex 3

 

Love the warranty through OCZ, fast and friendly!

I received this as a replacement when I RMA'd my Vertex 3 drive that died one day ; I was surprised when this showed up, brand new and early from OCZ ; Great speeds, way faster than my previous drive :)

None so far, wish had gotten bigger ;)
