Even toasting and simple controls. Okay for crumpets and thick sliced bread but I have to flatten tea cakes slightly to get them in!Appears to be cool on the sides in use.

Great little toaster.Looks very nice and doesn't take up too much room on our (small) kitchen worktop.Very easy to use - one lever and one temperature knob and that's it.Works a treat every time so far.Very impressed.

Bought this model as it matches our kettle and we wanted a reasonably priced toaster as most don't seem to last much beyond their warranty. This seems fairly well made, easy to keep clean and does the job. Satisfied customer!

I had already returned one toaster to a well known supermarket as the bread didn't fit in it so gave John Lewis a try. Very happy with this sturdy toaster, not only does the bread fit, it toasts evenly every time. In future I will try John Lewis first.
