I love our CineMate system. I don't know about you, but I don't have a weekend to spend stringing wires, bolting speakers to the wall and screwing around with a hundred idiotic menu options on a receiver just to get it to sound right. I just plugged in...

Bose CineMate 1 SR

 

Zusatzlautsprecher für Flachbildfernseher gibt es teilweise schon für unter 200 Euro, Bose verlangt für den CineMate 1 SR deutlich mehr, steckt aber auch eine Menge Technik in den Soundbar. Ob sich die Anschaffung lohnt, klärt der Test.

Magere Ausstattung

Der Bose CineMate 1 SR braucht recht wenig Platz, liefert tolle Klangeffekte und ist einfach zu bedienen, bietet dafür aber auch nur die nötigsten Funktionen. Der Subwoofer empfängt den Ton per Funk – das spart Verbindungskabel.

Exactly what I wanted

 

I have no need to adjust the sound (base, treble, mid, etc) levels. So not having it as an option is not at all an issue. It may be for some. The cost was very reasonable to me. For twice the cost, Bose has a system which includes an upconverting DVD...

Exactly what I was looking for in a home theatre system: easy set up, great sound, no muss/no fuss. Bose delivered in all respects. Didn't know it existed until I haphazardly came across it. Easy installation. Few wires.

No on/off controls or manual ability to adjust volume. I've never had a remote control die on me, but this system can only be turned on/off or have volume control with the remote. If the remote dies, you might as well not have the system.

Incredible sound!

 

I'm not really a classical or jazz fan, but the included disc is amazing! Not that it is strictly jazz or classical, but those seem to best tracks on the demo disc that best demonstrate the incredible sound. Especially the vocals and horns. The bass...

Amazing sound quality! Easy setup! The remote was impressive as far as compatibility and functionality. It's probably the best remote I've seen as far as controlling 3rd party devices. Usually the more you push a sound system, the more distorted it...

Ummm... I would have said the cost... But that was before I actually put them to the test! Even though they are pricey for a component 2.1 system, the bang for the buck ratio is pretty well worth it.

Bose system

 

This system is sweet. It's a no brainer to hook up and use. It sounds great in my 40'x50' sq/ft room with no issues. For the price, I'm completely happy!!

It's not the top of the line, but for the price, it's great!

Bose makes wonderful products

 

I have my HDDVR from my cable company and my Sharp Blu-Ray going through my Sharp Aquos 1080p lcd into these speakers. and i love em :)

Extremely simple installation. Turned up loud these things are crystal clear. Its not a 5.1 system so dont expect it to sound as awesome as a high priced 5.1 system. but it truely does sound a lot better than your normal tv speakers. i would recommend...

I wish there was a bass control knob as the subwoofer settings are a little on the weak side, but i knew this before i bought it. no digital inputs, so make sure your tv has audio out connections if you want to use more than 1 source.

AWSOME!!!!

 

GET IT!!!! BOSE ROCKS!!!!

Awesome sound, absolutely clear. I have this hooked directly into the Samsung LCD and my movies never sounded better. I used to have a Logitech Z-something but the dammm sub woofer blew out twice so I figured I would try something a little more refined...

Not really feeling the remote control. For a Universal one, this would never be my top choice
