The casing is a lighter plastic than my previous Epson product. I can feel the give of the casing when I pick it up in several areas when doing a one-hand pickup...I tend to be a bit more cautious when lifting the 93+ off a desk/stand.

From the first power up this machine has functioned well. In our home theater setting, it produces a 6x6 view and is very bright in the daylight, so that windows that once were draped are now left open. It is very easy to operate.
