Hopefully I am just the unlucky one that received a bad product and the next one will be fine. Something really should be done about the packaging though.

This is the brightest monitor I have ever owned. Black is very dark, white is blinding. The on-screen display is the best I have ever seen. If I didn't know it was a refurb, I wouldn't know it was a refurb. Packaging and finsish were both consistent...

I suppose if you are VERY tall your eyeline might be high enough to put you ouside the optimal vertical viewing angle. I'm 6'2" and if I sit up as tall as possible (so that my eyes are several inches above the top bezel) the bottom half of the screen...
