poor quality control

 

Low cost

Unit did not work, physically dirty inside DVD drive unacceptable for a refurbished unit. Unit came doa. Slow response time to emails sent to Newegg. Less than 1star rating on this transaction

Great buy.

I bought 3 of these Aug-Sept 2014 and was lucky to get the 3.2 GHz CPU. The first needs to run with the cover open and the other 2 run ok with the cover closed. At $55 dollars I am tempted to buy another. I will put in a faster CPU later. But the best...

Great price. Great small computer. I agree with other comments: can't get a typewriter for this price, great to tinker with or for kids to learn on, maybe add a faster CPU later (prices are going down) ; Comes with on board ethernet and audio (16MB max.)

Linda: The drive IS a 40GB but is partitioned into 3 parts.. Your recovery partition is on one of them.

Nice little machine for the price of a Windows 7 key

Ho Hum

 

Outside of case was clean inside covered in soot? This thing weighs A TON. and really has no room for expansion had to remove RD-ROM to install second Hard drive

Cheap and has Win 7 32 bit CoA

P4 is slow, as old as it is caps have probably degraded along with some of the chips. Had to reinstall Windows after about 3 days due to drive corruption. Hard drive DIED after about a week

Buyer Beware incorrect HD 25 GB not 40 GB

 

If you don't mind sending it back to get the correct hd it would be ok. First time I have been very unhappy with newegg but I ordered it from neweggflash maybe they are not as good as newegg.

It does OK

 

I bought this to put in my home office where I take inbound calls doing tech support. It's OK for something temporary until some checks come in.

Affordable, very clean and well refurbished. No overheating issues. Win 7 Home key is a plus

2gb max supported memory really puts a hindrance on Win 7. Even when tweaked to the lowest settings possible, it still has a hard time keeping up with my work
