After LG disappointed me on my last 24" LG monitor (that incidentally failed shortly after purchasing I swore I would never by another LG product again (and that was after hailing the company for years.) Don't do it to yourself. Buy a competitive...

You'll feel like you took LG and Newegg to the cleaners... UNTIL...

When the product breaks (and it will break well before it should), you'll be left high and dry by terrible technical support. It's all about the accountants!

Excellent monitor.

 

This is identical to the 24MP57HQ-P found at certain blue-polo having big box electronics stores. I bought this one to match, and can confirm they are identical aside from the kind of box they came in. I will say 24" is about as big as you should go...

Large, looks good, wide range of color options, cool power button/menu navigation method. Have two of these set up and might grab a third for school and a cool eyefinity array if I get a new GPU. Anyway, crisp and bright.

Some slight backlight bleed as with most IPS displays. Only 1 HDMI and no DVI or DisplayPort.

overall its a nice monitor. i would definitely recommend it if its on sale.

-big -looks great -good sale price

-WOBBLY STAND (*if you have a wobbly desk*), i stuck 2 firm black foam pieces between the bottom of the screen and the top of the base and its great now.. but yeah that kind of defeats the clean lines of the thin stand. -doesnt come with an HDMI cable,...

It broke about a month of use. It claims 3 Year manufacture warranty about Going through LG is a nightmare. They're so slow at replying and getting through with a solution. They sent me a confirmation that they received my monitor. Three weeks go by,...

GREAT picture quality

 

LG tends to deliver good quality at good prices, but the iffy panel on the back of this monitor has me worried. That said, it's really the only bad thing I have to say about it and I wouldn't be nearly as concerned if I didn't have small children that...

+ Great picture quality + The menu/power control knob is kinda neat

- FLIMSY back panel where the connections are. It's so bad I was really concerned I'd break something plugging my cables in! -2 eggs for this.

Sharp photo and video display. Sets up quickly. Excellent angle of view.

DVD-ROM had instructions for special features only in Hangul (Korean). Picture adjustments very limited.

First 1080p Monitor

 

This monitor has completely changed my computing experience and I've only been using it for about 6 hours now. Coming from a 1080p HDTV having to use 720p only this is amazing. Would love to pick up another one down the road for dual monitors.

It's beautiful Works exactly as it should Got it for a great price

The stand is kinda weird to put together but it works and isn't too wobbly. Only two inputs (1x HDMI, 1x VGA) - not a problem for me but could be for others.

Excellent IPS monitor with stunning contrast & blacks for the price

 

I picked up two of these for a second basement computer setup to have dual monitors. I am very particular of the color temperatures of identical monitor models matching exactly out of the box (I picked up and returned two ShellShocker Dell IPS panels...

-IPS panel -Viewing angle -Black blacks -Blinding contrast -Gorgeous color gamut

-Moderate wobble, but typical/not unusual/within median wobble range -Black light bleed on one monitor on black windows boot screen. Not noticed at any other time. Only one one panel, appears to be due to slight pressure of the bezel on the matte
