poor vertical viewing angle.

 

it works

My girlfriend raises the computer chair because she is short. So if I sit down to use it, the screen has a dingy brown tint to it. If I drop the chair then it clears up. Very poor viewing angle for the 5" height to make such a difference

Apparently ViewSonic thought it was a good business decision to achieve a lower price point on this monitor by omitting a key ingredient that is required in order to use the monitor to its full potential.

The IPS technology has good color, deep black, and excellent off-axis viewing angles. The LED backlighting is uniform, with no bright or dark zones. It has 100 mm VESA mounting holes, the neck of the stand is removable, and the connectors face downward...

The stand is a little too short and there is no height adjustment, but you can make phonebooks useful again by putting one or more of them under the monitor to elevate it to a more ergonomic height. I was planning to use the VESA mount anyway, so the...
