The HP Z210 CMT is an entry-level machine, serving as an introduction to the world of workstations. Clad in business-appropriate attire (read: drab), this midtower machine is one of the pricier members of our Business Desktops chart, but stands head...
Readily expandable ; Excellent software
Messy internal wiring
Workstations aren't for everyone. But if you need a powerful PC to work through heavy graphics and 3D tasks, and are willing to pay a bit extra for optimized hardware, the HP Z210 CMT stands out as a business desktop worth considering.
Avis d'expert par (pcmag.com)
Inside, the system is all business. IT service touchpoints are highlighted in green so, for example, the IT tech can easily swing up the optical drive to get to the SSD mounted underneath. Business systems are usually configured to the IT purchaser's...
High-performance hardware. Easy to upgrade and service. Lots of USB ports, including USB 3.0. Compact form factor. No bloatware preinstalled
Can only use half-height expansion cards. USB 3.0 is card-based. No room for extra hard drives
If you need the processing power of a workstation-class machine, and the added benefit of ISV certification, why not buy a true-blue workstation? The HP Z210 SFF is the one to get, as long as you don't need a lot of internal expansion room.
Avis d'expert par : Active Network (activewin.com)
Small Compact Design great for cramped spaces, Fast Storage Technology (160 GB SSD) – Would recommend investment in an external storage device with lots of capacity that supports the USB 3.0 interface to complement the SSD or consider sacrificing the...
Limited expandability, Limited storage capacity, Graphics solution limited for heavy 3D work, discrete graphics solution recommended., USB 3.0 ports not working out the box (possible class driver issue with Windows 7)
The HP Z210 makes a perfect solution for any size business looking for a powerful desktop that is easy to manage, upgradable while providing significant performance. Features such as the Intel XEON Processor, 8 GBs of DDR3 ECC RAM and 160 GB SSD makes...

First Look Review: Desktop system offers upper-midrange performance for an entry-level price.
In spring 2010, Cadalyst Labs reviewed HP's then-new Z200 entry-level workstation. At the time, we wrote, "The HP Z200 has a lot going for it" and "is certainly worth your consideration." When HP offered us a chance to review the next-generation Z210...

The Z210 is designed to be an entry-level workstation for budget-minded folks working in photo or video editing, education, and similar fields.
High performance at an affordable price
USB 3 not integrated, only an option
This PC is definitely worth checking out if you want to maximize production on a tight budget. Look at it this way: If you could buy a Porsche for the price of an economy car, wouldnt you at least be tempted?
Avis d'expert par : Greg Crowe (gcn.com)
HP's Z210 CMT Workstation can deliver powerful performance for a good price.
Good performance; lots of management software
Not great with 2-D graphics; cooling may be a problem

Fast & Reliable
Lacks USB 3.0, eSATA, memory card reader, and Blu-ray
The HP Z210CMT is a good base model computer for the everyday video editor.
Avis d'utilisateur (newegg.com)
I installed an SSD, blue ray drive, memory card reader, and spare GT 720 graphics card and the system has been rock solid. I would highly recommend this computer for the price (I got on a shell shocker deal).
- No scratches; looked new. - Everything inside was nicely routed and properly fastened. - Overall a very fast machine for the price!
According to HP using the XEON processor on this MB requires ECC memory, so I couldn't upgrade with the spare non-ECC memory I had laying around. - Included Video Card has dongle with two DVI ports; if you need VGA or HDMI, make sure to get an adapter...
Avis d'utilisateur (newegg.com)
Wish I got 2 at this price.
Got this for my father in law. He is happy with it. Fast CPU! Big case for upgrades.
Avis d'utilisateur (newegg.com)
I'd certainly buy from this seller again.
A lot of computer for the sale price I got ... Xeon processor with ECC memory. Nice and clean ... booted up with no problems ... everything seems to work fine. Case has plenty of room for expansion. Comes with a fairly nice mouse and keyboard ...8GB...
N/A at this time ... no reason to believe there will be.
