Casi exactamente un año después de intentarlo con el Shuttle X50, se ha presentado en Europa su sustituto, el Shuttle X50V2, modelo que no muestra novedades en el diseño y apenas se limita a actualizar sus componentes interno.

Great Computer for Kitchen

 

Reading the reviews of other buyers really help me to understand how to build my computer and now I can tell everyone how easy it was to do. Really enjoying this product.

This has everything that I needed to setup and use in my kitchen. I brought this because I could mount on the wall and do internet surfing, download my favorite recipes and programs. When it was on sale I got the combo with the 4g memory which was a...

It would have been great to have the hard drive in with the combo so that we would have had everything that we needed to build this unit. But since I got to pick and choose what hard drive I wanted I guess that was alright too

Excellent option for XBMC Live

 

I put 2 gig of RAM , 500gb HDD & a cheap remote control into this shuttle. XBMC installs fine on this however the network needs a manual config, found a great how-to online for this:

Excellent piece of kit (when using Windows)

 

I spent slightly over my budget in order to get this, only because of the fanless design. A Zotac Z-Box HD-ID11 would have done the same job but with a fan, so the silent operation of the Shuttle won me over. And it was worth it!

A few teething problems, but overall very well made
