BEWARE - Overview tab says Touch Screen but it is non-touch

 

Still evaluating laptop but I wanted to give a warning about the Overview tab on Newegg's site erroneously listing this model as a "15.6" standard touch screen display". The monitor is non-touch.

Outstanding Laptop for Price

 

This DELL laptop was purchased over a year ago. Performance has been very good and the price could not be beaten by ANY competitor.

Battery life per charge is only three hours

I like it

 

I bought it last winter before black Friday. the price is so attractive to me, $200 less than other website.

It is not a very good choice for those who play large computer games a lot, or 3D modeling. However for most people I think it is good enough.

good laptop but the battery

 

got it on black friday for 480 while its original price was 700-750. very solid laptop and have used it on game such red orchestra 2 (medium-high), shogun 2 (medium), left4dead (medium) settings and had no issue (not saying it was perfectly smooth but...

owning a macbook pro with 1920 res and having this laptop with 1380 res concurrently, and i feel the screen is a bit blurry ; THE MAIN ISSUE: the battery drains very quickly just surfing the web, i don't know if it is related to the manufacturer...

not a bad notebook for the money. sleek design, great battery life, touch screen enabled, USB 3.0 and many more features

 

I gave this notebook a 4/5 just for the fact that dell has designed a great notebook except for the touch screen aspect of the computer. It might just be my laptop but I will say this is a great laptop for the money and you can't go wrong

I like the way dell designed this notebook. It is sleek, stylish and fits my needs as a computer. I'm currently upgrading from a Core 2 Duo E8400 Desktop processor to the 4th gen IVY bridge. It is fast and responsive. Not really digging the Windows 8,...

only problem I have is with the touch screen. sometimes it randomly shows dots as if it is being pressed down by touch. This problem can be very annoying, I have no idea if anybody else has faced a similar problem with any windows 8 touch screen...
