Dell's highly configurable Latitude 5480 is a strong rival to its 14-inch business laptop competition, though our near-$2,000 test unit was too much machine for mere spreadsheets and reports.

stevig, sober design; uitstekende algemene prestaties; fenomenale batterijduur; multi-factor authenticatie-hardware; veel opties (WiGig, WWAN, Thunderbolt, GPU...)

sommige poorten moeilijk te bereiken (achterzijde); ietwat sponsachtig toetsenbord; knoppen van trackpoint niet ideaal; scherm is veel donkerder dan voorheen; wordt redelijk luid onder belasting

De batterijduur van de Latitude 5480 is ongeëvenaard - 16 uur WLAN-surfen zou voldoende moeten zijn voor zelfs de meest ijverige werkbijen. We zouden echter graag een paar uren looptijd inruilen voor een helderder schermpaneel.
