The EufyCam 2C alerts your smartphone when someone has been detected outside of your home
No subscription ; Good quality footage ; Works with HomeKit and Amazon Alexa
Occasionally missed motion ; No anti-theft protection ; Only comes with an outdoor mount
Unlike other security cameras, the EufyCam 2C doesn’t require you to pay for a monthly storage subscription. Instead, it securely stores footage locally. With 1080p resolution, it picks up plenty of detail and won’t get triggered by anything but...

The EufyCam E 2-Cam Kit lets you see what's going on outside of your home without running any wires. It offers sharp HD video and long battery life, but two-way audio was choppy in testing.

A wireless security camera system that is easy to install and use, and to monitor from afar, the EufyCam E is an interesting proposition in the home security camera market. Here's our full review.

And if you in an area subject to extreme weather conditions, this camera is heavily protected.
Eufy says its camera batteries can last up to one year on a charge ; Smart motion detection, including human detection ; HomeKit compatible
No audio detection ; Expensive compared to some competitors
The EufyCam 2 is a compelling starter option if you’re looking for an outdoor security camera. But so is the Arlo Pro 2. While the Arlo Pro 2 is no longer Arlo’s security camera (that would be the pricey ), it is HomeKit compatible and it costs about...

The brand behind the RoboVac line of robot vacuums is looking to keep your house safe as well as clean with its EufyCam E indoor/outdoor security camera.
Can store video clips on microSD card ; No cloud storage subscription requried ; Easy to set up and operate
Lacks advanced features like person and facial detection
The EufyCam E works well enough and has enough of the right features to earn a spot on your security camera shopping list. Its onboard storage, in particular, should be compelling to anyone who wants to avoid the added cost of a cloud subscription....
Avis d'expert par : Bradley Chambers (9to5mac.com)
As much as I have been investing in my HomeKit setup over the past few years, HomeKit security cameras are something I hadn't been able to pull the trigger on. My hesitation is that I didn't want to be tied to paying monthly fees for each camera, nor...

The EufyCam 2 is a good fully wireless home security camera that doesn't require a cloud plan.
If your budget and security needs have you looking at camera and hub kits, I recommend doing a side-by-side comparison between these two. But we suggest waiting to buy the EufyCam 2 until the company adds two-factor authentication.
